Who can participate?
Writers, authors, agented and unagented, that come from Southeast Asia (SEA). This includes the SEA diaspora and SEA authors currently not living in the region. If you identify as Southeast Asian, you are welcome to participate.SEA countries include: Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Does the status of my WIP matter?
Yes. Unlike the previous years, the 2026 event is NOT a hype event. To participate, unagented Southeast Asian creators must have a polished/query-ready manuscript or portfolio to pitch.
